The Mangalorean Konkani Wing of Indian Social Club- Muscat (MKW – ISC), is hosting the Semifinal for the sixth edition of “Gulf Voice of Mangalore” (GVOM) – Konkani singing talent hunt, a popular among music loving and Konkani speaking people residing in the Gulf countries. As a countdown to this event, MKW – ISC is pleased to announce MONTHLY quiz with theme based Music and Konkani language. The quiz will be available on www.mccpoman.com from 01st July 2018 to 20th September 2018, on each month beginning.
The format of the Quiz:
- The contest will run from 1st July 2018 to 20th September 2018 (Thursday), with every month new set of questions.
- One winner will be awarded INR 10,000/- (Indian Rupees Ten Thousand only) during the Final Draw. Second and third prizes plus three consolation prizes will be also awarded.
- A set of 5 multiple choice objective type questions will be available online on the 1st day of each month at mccpoman.com, starting from 01stof July 2018 to 20th of September, 2018
- Participants are required to answer all the five questions.
- An acknowledgment email confirming receipt of answers will be sent immediately.
- Each correct entry (all 5 correct answers) of the Quiz from the respective month (July, August, and September) will qualify for the final draw on 21st September 2018
- More you have correctly answered for each month-quiz, more will be your chances of winning on the final draw.
The contestants are required to comply with the below-mentioned Rules and Regulations:
- The contest is open to any person of Mangalorean origin residing in Oman only.
- Only one entry per person shall be allowed on each month quiz.
- The winners should have their identity documents to prove their identity while claiming the prizes
- No associate members/ friends/relatives can claim and collect the prizes on behalf of the winner, in case winner is absent during the announcement of the prizes.
- If the winner is no show during the event, that result will be discarded and a new draw will be taken in its place
- The Contest will be held online on the mccpoman.comsite in the “Quiz” area dedicated to the Contest.
- The contestant must provide with their real data, according to the information listed on their identity card and with a valid telephone number and email address.
- Contestants are required to use the same first name and last name combination and email address.
- MKW – ISC at any point of time will not share the personal data provided by the contestants.
- MKW – ISC reserves the right to cancel the contest or modify or change the Rules and Regulations at any time without prior notice. These modifications shall become applicable only after their prior publication on mccpoman.com
