An extraordinarily industrious professional, Donald Pinto, has contributed to the community and Sts. Peter & Paul Parish, in manifold ways.  He is intelligent, urbane man of letters with a resolve of steel and a commitment to his beliefs that never waver.  His interests are wide and varied; from literary, professional toastmaster/orator/presenter, music, community service, expedition, sightseeing, etc., and undoubtedly, he is a man of many parts. His writing and oratory skills are unmatchable.

Those who know him count themselves blessed. At the core of his being a Core Committee member of MCCP and its President for two terms, lay a belief that everyone in the society has a duty towards community welfare and service to the society.

His intellectual discipline and honesty, and a moral integrity of the highest order is the testimony and the secret of his long spanning banking career in senior position stretching beyond  3 decades in a bank of local repute and international fame.  For junior professionals, assisting Donald was a pleasure as he treated other fellow professionals as equal acknowledging graciously the contribution made by them.

Hailing from a God fearing family in Mangalore, he had his early education at Milagres School followed by undergraduate studies at St. Aloysius College and post graduation from Punjab University.  Drawing on a rich vein of traditions and cultural values inherited from the family, he rose to become in his early academic career, the most sought after student in the college actively participating in all spheres of extra-curricular activities with dazzling precision.

An MBA in finance/banking & Sigma from IIBM, he set his feet in Muscat in early 1980s and took up banking career in Al Bank Al Ahli Al Omani Al Fransi which later became Bank Muscat Al Ahli Al Omani SAOG (now BankMuscat).  There he rose from strength to strength earning accolades for perfection, excelling greater heights.

Donald and Eulalia are married for 31years; they have been a perfect blend of a delightful marriage.  Eulalia, is the Vice President for Sports & Finance in the current MCCP Executive Committee.  They are blessed with three children – Daniel, Deborah & David, each pursuing career of their choice.
