Hobby :  Sports   –  Sports is my passion;  Badminton / throw ball / volleyball & Cricket..  … Participated at District & University level tournaments from Mangalore and represented MCCP in a sports event in Oman as well.

Jessie Vivian Pereira was born in Paladka as the eleventh of twelve children to Late Boniface and Eliza D’ Costa, in a God-fearing family. The spiritual values inculcated in Jessie have been very strong, which is why with her ideologies, she leads her life by example serving in various communities of the Church, in Oman and in Mangalore. Soon after she accomplished her Bachelor degree in Arts from St. Agnes College, Mangalore, she secured a job in Karnataka Bank Ltd., at Head office, Kodialbail, serving in the bank for 8 years, prior to moving to Muscat to join her husband, Vivian Pereira, 24 years ago.

She completed her Primary education at St. Ignatius Loyola Church School, followed by Mount Rosary High School from Moodbidri and accomplished academics at St. Agnes College, Mangalore.  Immediately upon completion of College, secured a job in Karnataka Bank Ltd., Head Office and worked for 6 years, prior to coming to Oman in 1995.

She married to Vivian Pereira, from Bejai Parish, blessed with 2 lovely children, Daughter – Venetia & Son Vihaan.  Venetia has just completed her graduation from Waljat Colleges of Applied Sciences (Affiliated to Birla Institute of Technology) from Oman and son Vihaan pursuing his graduation in Finance & Office Management in Ryerson University, Toronto, Canada.  They are a very close-knit cohesive & God-fearing family.

She loves to spend her time with her family and attributes her success to her mom who is an inspiration in all given circumstances, nurtured her to accomplish life with a difference and after marriage she says whatever she could achieve, it is all possible because of her husband, Vivian’s unconditional love & support and her children were her pillars of strength.  She also loves to spend time and be associated with community service and social activities.

Spiritually strong and active in various Parish communities, she has served the MCCP committee as general secretary in 2012; Vice President – Sports and Finance in 2016; Council Member of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, Ruwi, and an active Committee Member at Indian Social Club, Konkani Wing.

She says, “We should, through compassion, love, humbleness, and generosity, always seek to give away which God has given to us, to benefit others”.
