Calling all shining stars…
It’s time to let your talents shine at our upcoming event ‘ MCCP Shining Stars / ಮ. ಕ. ಕೇ. ಪರ್ಜಳಿಕ್ ತಾರಾಂ’, a TALENT CONTEST for all age groups, on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at 10:00 a.m., Ruwi Church Hall.  Here is an opportunity to showcase your incredible talents and win prizes.
Participation guidelines:
1. The contest is open to Registered MCCP members only.
2. Participants will be divided into the following groups:
  • KG1, KG2, Std 1 – Group A
  • Std 2,3,4- Group B
  • Std 5,6,7 – Group C
  • Std 8,9,10 – Group D
  • Std 11,12 & up to 20 yrs – Group E
  • Adults above 20 years – Group F
3. Categories:
  •  Singing, Dancing, Fancy Dress – Groups A-E
  •  Dancing and Fancy Dress – Group F
4. Participation is restricted to one category per person only.
5. Time limit allocated for each act:
  • Two minutes – Singing and Dancing performances.
  • One minute – Fancy Dress (speaking is optional)
  • There will be a grace period of 30 seconds given.
6. Background tracks will not be permitted for singers. The option of having an accompanist playing a non-electronic instrument is available.
 Dancing tracks should be brought to the venue.
7. Konkani language is mandatory for all categories.
8. Reporting time – 9:00 a.m.
    The contest begins – 10:00 a.m.
    Prizes will be distributed at the end of all the performances.
