With an ever smiling face and always ready to take up responsibility, Nancy Vaz is the charming inspiration of the executive committee.

Nancy from Mumbai is born to Late Thomas Phillip Mascarenhas and his wife Stella Priscilla Mascarenhas.  Though her birthplace is Mumbai, she and her parents were always connected to the culture and values of our native place Mangalore.

Upon completion of graduation Nancy entered into marital bliss with Sylvester Vaz and has 2 beautiful children.  Like her parents, she and her husband always tried to inculcate their family tradition along with modern values in daily life. An apt life partner blessed to Nancy, Sylvester is well known in the community for his talents, especially for the choreography. Full of life, the duo has indoctrinated the qualities in the children, who are the rising stars in the field of dance and other artistic activities.  A perfect family, full on demonstrating their talents, ever ready on their feet to entertain as they enjoy to the maximum.

She is working as a Network Support at HSBC Bank for the last 7 years.  She always wanted to associate herself with some social services organization and work towards the betterment of society.  Nancy has already served the MCCP committee as General Secretary for the year 2010 – 2011.  Her interests in Music & Dance and her experience in participation of various dance shows and fashion shows held in Oman will be an added advantage to carry out her functions toward our community events.

A bundle of talents with combination of skills in executing it to perfection… this year community is sure to enjoy the events differently, so is ensured by the top line officers of the Executive Committee – Year 22, especially the VP Nancy Vaz.

Nancy shares, “The intention of joining MCCP is to promote communities close association & unity amongst its members, to make everybody feel at home even though they are miles away from their home town”. This depicts her love towards the community and the roots of Mangalore & its tradition, to stay connected perpetually.
