Born and brought up at Padubelle, Pamboor Parish, Stany Menezes is one among six siblings born to Mrs. Prescilla and late Mr. Faustine Menezes.

Upon his initial schooling from Holy Cross Primary School – Pamboor  he continued with St. Lawrence Junior College Moodubelle and graduated from St. Mary’s College – Shirva. His desire to pursue higher studies led him to successfully attain his Masters (M.Com) from Mangalore University.

In seeking greener pastures, he had to leave his native town and move to Mumbai where he worked for 4 years at Kedia Groups of Co. As the adage goes ‘Life has to move on and in search for better prospects’ destiny brought him to Muscat. He is currently employed at OHI group of companies as an Accountant.  His spouse Priya, a Domina Toastmaster, currently employed with Assarain Food Products; has been a source of his joy.  The couple made for each other, is blessed with two lovely children, daughter Pearl aged 12, and son Shawn aged 6 studying at Indian School Wadi Kabir. The duo admits, their children have given a new meaning to their life. Stany is a family oriented man and proudly states that his family has been an integral part of his life and that their love and support has played an instrumental role in his success.

His hobbies include outdoor games like cricket and volleyball. Apart from sports, he also enjoys dancing, singing, gardening and cooking.  Active participation in all the events of the community and elsewhere, spells the co-scholastic interest of the entire family, so also prove their esteem talents by winning the accolades.

“My strength is my attitude.  I have a strong belief that I can achieve any challenge posed to me, with the right approach and positive attitude.  Success and failures are part of our life and every individual needs to handle them appropriately.  I think that the word “weakness” has no significance.  “Weakness actually leads to scope for improvement”.  Trust in myself, and the ability to work harder does not permit me to leave any task unfinished. My ethic is “I never neglect an opportunity for my improvement”.  Stany, a man of strong conviction and attitude, has inculcated in the same quality in his family too… therefore the entire family does not shy to participate in any event or shelve any opportunity that knocks their door.

His goal is to attain a platform wherein he can grow in his career as well as play a key role in the success of MCCP through his active participation. His dream is that other social organizations should bench mark MCCP for their success.
