Muscat, Jan 29:<\/strong>\u00a0Mangalorean Catholic Centre for Parish (MCCP \u2013 Sts Peter and Paul Church, Ruwi, Sultanate of Oman) organised the much-awaited annual drawing competition for the members of MCCP on January 19.<\/p>\n

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation of artistes of all ages who came together to appreciate the beauty of life through colours and creativity.<\/p>\n

The day commenced at 9 am with registration followed by prayer by Fr Marian Miranda (Spiritual Director of the Konkani Community). Fr Marian prayed for the success of the event and spoke words of encouragement; drawing a streak of bright colour on a chart marked the inauguration of the event.<\/p>\n

Flavia D\u2019souza, vice-president (Cultural, Spiritual, and Community Service) addressed the gathering, welcoming them and wishing the very best to all participants.<\/p>\n

Dynet Fremcitha Fernandes, spiritual secretary read out the rules and the themes for various categories as follows:<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Kids and adults were seen enthralled in imagination. The ambience was vibrant with bursts of colour and creativity.<\/p>\n

Towards the end of the programme, at 12 noon, snacks were served. Certificate of participation were distributed to all participants by Roshan Tellis, vice president (Sports and Finance) as the participants were called by Melita Alva, general secretary. Winner\u2019s names will be announced and prize distribution ceremony will take place in MCCP upcoming event.<\/p>\n

Dean D\u2019Souza compered the event meticulously, keeping up with the time.<\/p>\n

The event supported for MCCP online registration by Vijai D\u2019Cunha, Ivan Moras captured the exiting moments of the day in his camera.<\/p>\n

The event was organised with great professionalism by all the team members of the executive committee of MCCP \u2018Team-27\u2019 for the year 2018-19, which comprises Ajith Walder as the president, Roshan Praveen Tellis as vice president-Sports & Finance, Flavia D\u2019Souza as vice president-Cultural, Spiritual & Community Service, Melita Sheela Alva as general secretary, Ashok Kiran Pinto as honorary treasurer, Denzil Nishan Sequeir as internal auditor, Ajith D\u2019Costa as sports secretary, Deepak Ranjan D\u2019Souza as cultural secretary, Walter Mendonca as spiritual secretary, and Dynet Fremcitha Fernandes as community service secretary.<\/p>\n
