\"\"<\/a>A quiet yet active personality, well known among the sports lovers of the Mangalorean community, Ajith hails from a serene coastal town of Halealve, Kundapura. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Having participated in various MCCP events and sports activities, Ajith is an accomplished sports personality who gives due credit of his success to his wife Jacintha and children, Anisha and Aman as a constant source of support.<\/p>\n

After completing schooling in St.Mary\u2019s School,\u00a0 Kundapur, he pursued higher studies in St.John\u2019s College, Varanasi, UP. Currently, he works for Oman Cricket as an Accounts Manager. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Most of the youth today try to mirror the abilities of their favorite heroes such as Sachin Tendulkar and Kapil Dev, but very few consider the hard work and efforts put in by the umpires on the cricket field. Ajith too started his cricketing endeavors as a bowler in the city grounds of Kundapur, but grew into an aficionado for the laws of this game that is loved by all. When others tried training themselves with the bat and ball, he took the road less travelled and began sharpening his skills at umpiring, and today he stands as an Asian Cricket Council (ACC) accredited Level II umpire.<\/p>\n

Since childhood he has had a burning passion towards the game of cricket with Javagal Srinath being his favorite player. Today he looks to emulate Kumara Dharmasena as an umpire.<\/p>\n
