Dolphy Frank is an accountant by profession and known for his simplicity, affectionate and friendly nature towards all. His popularity among friends and relatives is owed to his unassuming sense of humour. He landed in Oman in December 1984, beginning his career here as a junior accountant and growing to become the group financial controller of a diversified and established trading house in the country. His key strengths that have led him to success in his career are his commitment, dedication, hard work and focus on the task at hand.

Dolphy hails from Mangalore and is the fifth of six children of late Mr. J.M Frank & Alice Frank, Bejai Parish. He graduated from St. Aloysius College, Mangalore in 1978. During his student years he was an all-rounder and good at academics as well as athletics.

His passion towards the Konkani culture and language that are part of his background, is visible in his contribution to the community through his service since his arrival in Muscat. Previously having served as an honorary treasurer of MCCP in 2003-2004, he is also one of the active committee members of Monthi Fest committee since its inception 25 years ago.

He believes that by making the MCCP community stronger we are entrusting and passing on the rich Mangalorean culture and values to the next generation, which is the mission of this association. He takes pride in the impression of the Mangalorean community that has been created by like-minded people around the world by their bond, unity, hard work and contribution to society. He also feels that MCCP has played a pivotal role in reinforcing this impression and the Mangalorean community has come to be known as one of the friendliest communities in the world.
