Muscat, Jan 31: Mangalorean Catholic Centre of Parish (MCCP), Muscat is all set to organise the most enjoyable and fun-filled event of the year ‘Mangalorean Milan’ on Friday, February 5. This year, Mangalorean Milan will be an open day full of exciting games, thrilling performances and stimulating competitions. The day will provide a unique opportunity for every MCCP/community member to participate and enjoy various unconventional sports and activities. This much awaited event will be held at Muscat Sports Club Grounds, Wadi Kabir, starting 11 am.

Feverish preparations are underway by the executive committee, well-supported by the community members and sponsors to make this day a memorable one for all the members of the community. President of MCCP John Gonsalves said that while there will be a variety of stimulating games and competitions for kids, the senior members would be in for a surprise as special activities are lined up for them under MCCP’s theme of the year ‘Honour elders and build up a harmonious family’ (‘Malgadyank Maan, Kutmant Samadhaan’). He urged all members to bring along their parents or in-laws staying with them so that they also get a chance to enjoy an outdoor event.

MCCP has enlisted the services of Suraj Rebello, a versatile personality and a well-known sports enthusiast, supported by the very talented sports personality, the cheerful Dolly Gomes to conduct the events of the day. A heady mix of his inimitable style, innovative games, unique team activities along with exquisite food from Mangalurean cuisine promises to make Friday February 5 a day to look forward to for the Mangalurean Catholic community of Muscat.
